The Lion's Den is a fiercely independent café brand with locations in Haslemere, Surrey and Midhurst, West Sussex.
Our work with the team began with a food and drink commission at their original Haslemere café, creating imagery for digital marketing, advertising and social media. When a second Lion's Den opened in Midhurst, the brief expanded to capture the new venue through interior, exterior and aerial photography.
Together, the shoots created a broader visual library capturing not only what The Lion's Den serves, but the character of the places behind it.

The Haslemere commission centred on the café's food and drink offer, from freshly made coffee and colourful brunch dishes to generous sandwiches, burgers and sweet treats.
Rather than treating each plate as an isolated menu shot, the photography introduced hands, movement, drinks and elements of the café environment, creating a library that could work naturally across advertising, web and social content.
A Second Location
From Haslemere
to Midhurst.
When The Lion's Den opened its second café in Midhurst, the photographic brief changed with it. This commission focused on the venue itself: documenting the interior design, architectural details and exterior setting, supported by elevated drone photography that placed the café within its new surroundings.
