This summer, we popped into The Folly Wine Bar in Petersfield for a quick bite of lunch. What started as a casual introduction soon blossomed into a brilliant collaboration.
Over a chat with owner Jake, we shared how Sequoia Studios delivers premium food and drink photography alongside social media management tailored for hospitality businesses. Jake was immediately interested, and after a few emails and some diary-aligning, The Folly signed up for our SIGNATURE Food & Drinks Photography Package and our ESSENTIAL Social Media Management Package.
Working with The Folly has been an absolute pleasure. It’s a true family-run business, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that locals love. Every visit feels like being part of the community.
Perfect cheesy chip pull!
On shoot day, the team were simply fantastic assisting with styling, timing, service and even some modelling (the perfect scampi dip and cheesy chip pull!) so everything ran smoothly. Photography is about more than capturing dishes; it’s about light, texture, movement and the story behind the food and drink. With The Folly team’s support, we were able to photograph their food and drinks authentically and in natural light.
Their menus are packed with favourites, from Lunch Club specials to their legendary Burger & Pint Night every Wednesday, Fishy Fridays, and of course, the popular Bottomless Brunch. The food is hearty, well-cooked and full of flavour, perfect for everything from casual catch-ups to long lazy weekends.

The Folly is more than food and drink though. Upstairs, The Folly Upstairs provides a superb entertainment space, hosting a monthly Comedy Night (first Monday) and a Jazz Club (third Tuesday), as well as being available to hire for private parties, weddings or business meetings. Add in the DJs spinning tunes until late every Friday and Saturday night, and you’ve got one of Petersfield’s liveliest venues.
For us, it’s a privilege to capture that energy, the food, the people and the stories that make The Folly such a special place.
