A new restaurant.
Three very different shoots.
What began with a chance conversation developed into a series of commissions for The Dilli, a new independent Indian restaurant preparing to open in the centre of Haslemere.
Across three visits, Sequoia Studios photographed the restaurant's distinctive interiors and exterior, documented its opening celebration and returned to create a collection of food photography for its dessert menu.
Together, the shoots created a varied image library showing not only the space and food, but the people and personality behind the restaurant.
The Approach
Beyond the packshot.
Into the wild.
Clean product photography gave the Rum & Reggae range consistency, but the bold packaging called for something with a little more personality.
Moving outdoors introduced natural light, texture and colour into the imagery — allowing stone, timber and foliage to become part of each composition while keeping the bottles unmistakably centre stage.
The result was a broader collection of photographs: practical product imagery where clarity mattered, complemented by more expressive images created to give the brand room to stand out.
