The recently restored Liphook Signal Box at Hollycombe Steam in the Country is an important part of the site’s heritage story, offering visitors a glimpse into traditional railway operations and signalling.

A Brief to Capture Detail and Craftsmanship

Sequoia Studios were asked to photograph the opening ceremony of the restored structure, focusing on the character of the building, the original mechanisms and the craftsmanship that went into its preservation.

Working with natural daylight and the natural textures of the space, we produced a series of images that highlight the lever frame, instruments, timberwork and heritage features.
