Since 2013, Sequoia Studios has worked closely in partnership with PhotoWeb USA, the number one hotel and resort photography company in the United States. Over the years, our collaboration has taken us to Austria, Germany, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Poland, Turkey, Morocco, Russia, the United States and Africa, photographing everything from five-star resorts to trusted global hotel brands.
One of our more recent assignments took us to the Holiday Inn Express in Munich — a city rich in heritage, beer and hospitality, and a place where the international flavour of the PhotoWeb-USA partnership really shines.

Working closely with the hotel manager, we captured a full suite of images across the property:
Modern and comfortable bedrooms
Sleek meeting and business spaces
Relaxed and inviting communal areas including the bar, foyer and lounge
As always, the goal was to showcase the best of the hotel’s offer to potential guests: warm, clean, functional spaces that feel good to spend time in — and that reflect the trusted IHG brand. Great hospitality is not just about facilities, it’s about atmosphere and that’s something we always aim to bring out through thoughtful lighting, framing and timing.
One of the best parts of this trip? The incredible staff — who went out of their way to help throughout the shoot, and even took me to one of Munich’s legendary beer halls, the Hofbräuhaus, to celebrate a successful day of photography. A perfect end to a productive project and another brilliant moment in our long-standing collaboration with PhotoWeb USA.
