Celebrating Organic September
From Garden to Lens
September marks Organic September, a celebration of food grown with care for the land, people and future. For us at Sequoia Studios, organic isn’t just a label, it’s a story of authenticity.
This month, I’ve been inspired by my own garden and allotment, where rows of vibrant beetroots, freshly dug potatoes and wonderfully wonky baby carrots thrive without chemicals or shortcuts. These humble vegetables remind us that organic food is about more than appearances, it’s about flavour, sustainability and connection to nature.
Restaurants across the UK have long embraced organic principles, growing herbs in kitchen gardens, sourcing from local organic farms and reconnecting diners with the land that nourishes us. When I capture these ingredients through photography, I aim to preserve their natural imperfections and celebrate the beauty of real food.
So, whether you grow your own, visit your local farmer’s market or enjoy a dish at a restaurant that sources organically, Organic September is a chance to pause and savour food that tells a story.
I love organic, so follow us on socials as I share imagery of my own homegrown food and dishes inspired by local produce.
If you’re a chef, restaurateur, or food producer championing organic practices, let’s collaborate to tell your story through powerful imagery. Get in touch with Sequoia Studios today.
