Hotel Indigo
Newcastle.
The Commission
A hotel shaped by
its city.
Hotel Indigo Newcastle draws much of its character from the city around it, combining contemporary interiors with details inspired by Newcastle’s industrial and architectural heritage.
The commission was to create a broad photographic library capturing the hotel as a complete guest experience, from bedrooms and bathrooms to dining, drinks, shared spaces, amenities and its city-centre setting.
A Sense of Place
Newcastle,
woven into the interiors.
Hotel Indigo Newcastle takes visual cues from the city around it, with references to local architecture, industry and transport woven through the interiors.
The photography needed to capture more than the scale of the rooms and public spaces. Details, materials and decorative elements help communicate the property’s character and give the imagery a stronger sense of place.
